A couple arrives in Bangladesh instead of Senegal due to an airline error

Sandy Valdiviseo and her husband Triet Vo tried to fly from Los Angeles to Dakar, in Senegal with Turkish Airlines, however, they ended up almost 7,000 kilometers away and on a completely different continent.Their destination was Dhaka, the capital of Balgladesh.

According to The Telegraph, they were all motivated by an error in the codes of the respective airports, which were confused at some point in the trip by the operators of the company.

The code for the Dakar airport is DKR, while the code for the Dhaka airport , the capital of Bangladesh, which is CAD.

The couple realized the mistake when they arrived in Istanbul and the flight attendant told them that they were going to Dhaka, after seeing on the map of the flight that They found in the Middle East.Pio was a mistake in the pronunciation of the hostess and that&Dhaka was how Dakar was pronounced with a Turkish accent&raquo ;.

Sandy Valdivieso says that when they arrived in Bangladesh they informed the Turkish Airlines company of the error , and tried to make a transfer to Senegal, but only managed to reach their desired destination two days later.
