The winner of the best pastry chef in Latin America, awarded by the Republic of Cocoa, went to the Spanish Jesus Escalera , pastry chef at La Postreria, in Guadalajara (Mexico).

The 50 best chefs themselves chose Venezuela's Carlos Garcia, from Alto as the best in their class, who He received an award from the Spanish brewer Estrella Damm.
